Ginny was one of 69 dogs rescued from the Dangjin dog meat farm in Korea in September 2018. She lived in a rusted cage and was very excited to see people when was rescued.

Despite her dark past, Ginny never lost her trust in humans. She is very affectionate with people and is obedient, sweet, and friendly to those she meets. She enjoys following her humans around to receive pets and attention.

However, Ginny is not the biggest fan of other dogs, especially other females who she feels threatened. She may not not have had the best experience with other dogs and sometimes resorts to trying to defend herself. To Ginny, humans are all the friends she needs, and she would be a fantastic companion.

Ginny is a homebody and prefers a laid back environment where she can take long, quiet walks with her humans. Her ideal adopter is with a family with experience with dogs, as well as dog reactivity. She would require a house (no condos or apartments please) in a suburban or country setting and would benefit from having a secure fenced-in yard. A home with a calm, relaxed environment but active humans who enjoy outdoors and trails is most ideal.
