**Note: Dongah is available for adoption in Toronto. Her flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for May 3.

Background: Dongah and Mana were found tied up as puppies in the mountains. They were taken to a city pound in Gwangju, Korea, where they were almost euthanized. Luckily, they were rescued and brought into our care last month.

Living Environment: Currently, Dongah lives with other dogs at our partner boarding house.

Personality: Dongah is a shy sweetheart at first but warms up quickly. She is affectionate, friendly, and has medium energy.

Behaviors: Dongah is fine with car rides and baths, and walks well on a leash. However, she may feel nervous in new or crowded places. She is calm and quiet indoors.

Socialization: Dongah gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. She is gentle, sociable, and enjoys playing. Initially reserved with people, she becomes very affectionate and sweet once comfortable. She has had no exposure to cats or young children.

Health: She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date with vaccinations. Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives are provided.

Ideal Home: The best fit for Dongah would be someone who works from home or is retired. They should enjoy having their dog around all day, engaging in activities. Another friendly furry companion would be beneficial for Dongah, especially initially. Patience and willingness to adapt to her pace are key qualities in an adopter for this sweet baby.
