Get monthly updates about dogs like Bok-Ghee and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Bok-Ghee was found on the streets when she was a puppy. She was covered with dirt and her skin was severely damaged. She needed immediate medical treatments. For several months, the poor puppy had to bear pain and fear. Although the treatments were not easy for the tiny girl, she was stronger than we thought. She completed them and gained her health back.

Bok-Ghee is shy around strangers and in general it takes a few days for her to feel comfortable. Once she feels safe, she will come to you and want to snuggle. She is house-trained, doesn’t bark and has no separation anxiety. While she is very good indoor, she is still a little bit scared of going outside; she has fear of crowds and cars. But she is getting better little by little everyday.

She loves to be around people and also is cat friendly. Very gentle, patient, and loving baby.

The ideal family would be someone living in a house with fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood. A laid-back life style, working from home or retired would be very nice. Most importantly, someone who is patient, kind, gentle and compassionate would be great.
