Meet Yanyang, a true survivor! Yanyang was one of the 1,400 fortunate dogs rescued from a tough life in a puppy mill in Hwasung, Korea. For too long, she endured confinement in a dark, dirty cage, deprived of fresh air and sunlight, forced to have puppies for profit. But a remarkable rescue mission changed her fate, thanks to the dedication of many compassionate souls.

Last month, ten of the rescues became part of our care, and Yanyang was one of them. She received thorough vet check-ups to ensure she was in tip-top health and ready for her forever home.

Like most puppy mill survivors, Yanyang has some learning to do. She’s partially pee-pad trained and is new to a leash. Her future adopter should be patient and understanding, gently introducing her to the ropes of everyday life.

Yanyang is a gentle, quiet, and sweet soul who gets along well with other dogs, as long as they are small and gentle. But she might get nervous around big or hyper dogs.

Her heart truly shines when she’s in the company of humans. She’s destined to thrive with someone who leads a quieter life, cherishing moments spent with their furry companion.

Ideally, Yanyang’s perfect match would be someone who works from home or is retired, offering plenty of quality time for their beloved fur baby. Patience is key, as Yanyang may need a little time to adjust, but the rewards of her love and loyalty will be immeasurable.
