Yangsoon

Yangsoon was found abandoned on the streets last fall. Someone tied her to a pole and left her to fend for herself. She was eventually picked up by animal control and sent to a local highkill shelter. Thankfully, she was pulled right before being euthanized.

Yangsoon’s foster describes her as a lovely girl. She is friendly, social, and affectionate with her humans. True to her poodle breed, she is very smart, but also very intuitive.

After completing her vet check up when she was rescued, it was discovered she was suffering from a UTI. It was also evident she had a C-section in the past. Although we have no way of knowing her history, we suspect she may have been used for breeding and abandoned after she was no longer useful, or abandoned because her owner did not want to deal with her medical issues at her age. Thankfully, she recovered from her UTI and has been healthy since her most recent vet checkup.

As mentioned, Yangsoon is an affectionate, intuitive girl. In one of the videos below, she was seen trying to wake up Gordon (a fellow senior rescue dog who has since been adopted) when he was coming out of anesthesia after his dental treatment.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
