Yangsoon was one of the lucky 1,400 dogs rescued from the harsh conditions of a puppy mill in Hwasung, Korea, last fall. Trapped in a cramped cage, she suffered without the comforts of fresh air or sunlight, forced to breed for profit.
Yangsoon became a part of our rescue family following her rescue last fall. She has received thorough veterinary examinations to confirm that her health is good, preparing her for a new chapter in a loving home. Initially, she faced some skin issues, which took time to heal. Now, she is happily ready for her forever home.
Yangsoon is a sociable and very affectionate girl. She enjoys following her humans, always seeking to stay close to them. She is not shy around strangers and is playful. She also gets along well with other dogs, particularly small ones, without trouble.
As with many who have endured similar pasts, Yangsoon is still learning about the world. She’s getting the hang of pee-pad training.
The best fit for Yangsoon would be an individual who either works from home or is retired, someone who can devote abundant time and attention to their new companion. Someone patient and empathetic, ready to kindly guide her through the novelties of daily life would be ideal.
