Note: Woory is available for adoption in Toronto with her flight scheduled to arrive from Korea in November 2023.

Woory is a true survivor with a heart full of love. She was among the lucky dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Jinan, Korea, last spring. Can you imagine a life in a dark, dirty cage inside a makeshift house, with no fresh air or sunlight? That was her harsh reality. Forced breeding for profit was all she had ever known. But then, a miracle happened – the puppy mill was shut down, and all these precious lives were saved.

Woory’s journey continued as she stayed in two different boarding houses for the last five months. Recently, she became a part of our care, and we ensured she received comprehensive vet check-ups. She’s in good health and ready to find her forever home.

Woory is a bit shy around strangers, but once she gets to know them, her sweet and gentle nature shines through. She enjoys sitting on her human’s lap and is good with other dogs, never showing any signs of aggression.

Woory’s ideal family is one where someone works from home or is retired, allowing for plenty of dedicated time for their furry companion. She’s a mellow and friendly girl, and whoever is fortunate enough to adopt her will truly be lucky.
