Get monthly updates about dogs like Woody and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Woody’s story began on a chilly winter day in 2013. He was just a young puppy, wandering alone and lost on the streets. Thankfully, he was rescued just in time from a life of uncertainty and has been given a second chance.

Woody has come a long way from his lonely days on the street. He’s currently living in a boarding house with a big yard where he spends his days happily playing and running around.

Woody is a friend to everyone he meets. He doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, which is a big plus! He’s sociable and has shared his space with other dogs in the past, mostly getting along well with them. While he occasionally has small disagreements with dogs who aren’t quite his match, he’s generally a peaceful pup.

Woody loves playing in the yard and enjoys leisurely walks in grassy areas. He’s great on a leash and responds well when guided. Car rides are a breeze with him; he’s calm and enjoys the journey. Bathtime isn’t his favorite, but he tolerates it well.

Woody has a heart full of love to give and is looking for a forever home where he can enjoy regular walks and lots of playtime. He’s not experienced with being alone, so a home where he has company would be ideal. He’s not afraid of men and hasn’t shown any fear of children, though he hasn’t been around them much.

Woody’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, but his spirit remains unbroken. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to fill your days with joy, Woody might just be the perfect addition to your family.

Woody is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Woody is $280.
