This 4 year old boy has lived a difficult life. He was raised by an owner who beat him on a daily basis. Everyone in the town were aware the the abuse he endured, but no one stepped forward to help him until he was saved by a local activist and sent to a local shelter.

While safe in shelter, he needed to share his space with 2 larger jindo dogs who frightened him. Seeing the stress he was under, he was then sent to the boarding house where he currently lives. He is much happier there, where he lives with many other dogs his size. The large jindo still scare him sometimes, but he has made lots of progress with his fears.

Despite his hard life, Wangmandoo is smart, affectionate, and playful. He enjoys the company of the boarding house volunteers, as well as going for walks.

His ideal adopter is one who has experience with rescues and can offer him a relaxed lifestyle with lots of walks

*Wang-mandoo means ‘giant dumpling’ in Korean.
