In the midst of a chilling winter, Sunhee’s life took a transformative turn. Rescued from a heart-wrenching neglect situation, she was found tied to a lonely pole, her only sustenance the remnants of human waste.
After her rescue, she found solace in a foster home, where love and patience helped her heal both physically and emotionally. Months later, she joined a community of fellow dogs at our partner boarding house, where her playful spirit and friendly nature flourished.
Yet, every journey has its shadows, and Sunhee’s is no different. In mid-August, her closest companion, Miso, found a forever home and ventured to Toronto. Since then, Sunhee’s days have felt incomplete without her confidant. It’s a reminder that Sunhee’s tale is still unfolding, and her search for a loving family remains a priority.
Sunhee effortlessly blends into groups of dogs without trouble. But perhaps her most endearing trait is her love for people. Sunhee thrives on human connection, basking in attention and cherishing every moment spent together.
As she navigates this phase of her journey, Sunhee longs for a forever home that mirrors the love she’s known. A family where someone is present to share each day, providing the companionship and care she deserves. Ideally, she’d flourish in a household with another playful small dog, offering her the camaraderie she treasures.
