Summer’s journey has been a challenging one, as he was found abandoned at the Yongin City pound last summer. The exact circumstances of how he ended up there remain unknown. Sadly, it was evident that he had experienced neglect and potential abuse, as he arrived with matted fur and displayed fear, particularly around people and raised hands. Despite his past, Summer’s innate lovability shone through, though no one came forward to adopt him. Fortunately, he was saved from euthanasia and has since been residing at a private training school, where he has received care and companionship.

Initially, Summer was exhausted and anxious upon arrival at the training school. He exhibited nervousness around other dogs and displayed signs of anxiety and restlessness. However, thanks to the dedicated trainers and volunteers who showed him trust and affection over the past year, Summer has blossomed. His true personality and endearing traits have emerged.

Summer is a lively, intelligent, and inquisitive dog. He eagerly learns new tricks and is both active and obedient. His joy is palpable when playing outdoors, chasing balls, and experiencing the freedom of running. When it comes to other dogs, Summer is generally indifferent. He has made progress in walking on a leash, but he may pull when excited. Notably, Summer exhibits heightened interest and alertness when encountering SUVs, suggesting a possible connection to his previous owner, who may have had an SUV and abandoned him at the city pound.

While Summer still has much to learn, he is undeniably an adorable and handsome boy who craves human companionship and attention. He thrives when he can be close to people and form a bond based on trust and love. Patience and ongoing training are essential for his continued growth and development.

The ideal family for Summer would have experience with standard Poodles or similar-sized and temperament breeds. They should enjoy engaging in outdoor activities with their dog. A family with someone who works from home or is retired and can dedicate ample time to spend with Summer, continuing his socialization and training, would be ideal. A quiet neighborhood and a house with a fenced-in backyard would suit Summer’s needs best.

By opening your heart and home to Summer, you will not only give him a second chance at a fulfilling life but also gain a loyal and affectionate companion who will bring joy and gratitude into your world. With patience, love, and continued guidance, Summer will thrive and become an inseparable part of your family.
