Sohee

Background: Sohee and her siblings were rescued from a dog meat farm in April 2019. The puppies were about 3 months old at that time.

Environment: Since her rescue, Sohee has been residing in a shelter with other dogs. Life in the shelter poses challenges, enduring temperatures exceeding 32°C in summer and dropping to -20°C in winter, without cooling or heating systems. Spending most of her time in a kennel presents another hurdle. Sohee has been patiently awaiting her forever family for five years, and there is hope that she can find a loving home outside the shelter this year.

Personality: Sohee is known for being docile, friendly, and possessing an easy-going and mellow demeanor with medium energy levels. She is a happy, sweet, and loving goofball.

Behaviors: Sohee enjoys going for walks and expresses affection towards people, including strangers. Despite her time spent in the kennel, she is always happy to interact with people. Her tail wags incessantly, and she excitedly wiggles her bum. She is particularly cuddly and affectionate with those she knows well.

Socialization: She is good with people including men and is generally comfortable around strangers. Sohee loves attention and is good with other friendly dogs, as long as they are not dominant or hyper. She has no experience with cats or young children.

Health: She has no food allergies. Sohee is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Monthly preventative measures for internal and external parasites are provided.

Ideal Home: The perfect match for Sohee would be an individual with prior dog experience, patience, and the capacity to train her diligently. Ideally, someone who works from home or is retired with plenty of time would suit her well. Sohee is a delightful, gentle girl who has the potential to be an excellent family companion.
