**Note: Currently, Santa is in Korea but we are looking for her forever home in Toronto. Her flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for April 19.

Background: Santa is a gentle and affectionate girl who was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, as part of our “Save 100 Dogs” campaign. Since her rescue, she has been living in a shelter with other dogs, patiently waiting for her second chance at life and love.

Personality and Socialization: Santa is a sweet, easygoing dog who adores people and enjoys being close to them. She gets along well with other gentle and friendly dogs, especially those similar in size. She does best in calm and peaceful environments.

What makes Santa extra special is how comfortable she is around both men and women—even strangers. She has a soft, loving nature and is quick to form bonds, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate friend.

Behaviour: Santa loves her daily walks and is always eager to explore the outdoors. Though she might be a little cautious in unfamiliar surroundings at first, she settles in quickly and adapts well. She is well-mannered during car rides, vet visits, and even bath time.

Santa is quiet indoors and has shown no destructive behavior or signs of separation anxiety. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly curl up near you and simply enjoy being in your presence.

Health and Diet: Santa is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She’s also on monthly parasite prevention and has tested negative for any parasites. When she was rescued, she had heartworms, but she compelted her treatments and is now healthy and ready for her forever home.

She eats dry kibble twice a day and has had no allergies or sensitivities.

Ideal Home: Santa would do well in a calm home where someone is around most of the time—perhaps a retired person or someone who works from home. She could be happy as the only dog or with another small, gentle dog. Santa’s mellow, affectionate nature makes her an ideal match for first-time dog parents or anyone looking for a loyal, loving companion.

Whoever brings Santa home is in for something really special. She’s not just a dog—she’s the kind of soul who’ll fill your days with warmth, quiet joy, and unconditional love. Anyone who gets to call her family will be truly lucky.
