Get monthly updates about dogs like Samsol and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

In 2022, Samdol was saved from the harsh conditions of Siheung dog meat farm, joining the ranks of 100 other fortunate dogs. Samdol’s past was filled with hardship, confined within a grimy wire enclosure and surviving on meager scraps of human food waste. These dogs, like Samdol, often avoid toxic food until their hunger becomes unbearable, a survival strategy that can sadly harm them.

Upon his initial rescue, Samdol was in a terrible state, enduring a severe skin disease that inflicted both mental and physical suffering more than the others. However, as time unfolded, he embarked on an incredible journey of progress. Slowly, he reclaimed his health and kindled his lost confidence. Last May, we made a resolute choice to enroll Samdol in a specialized training program. Our unwavering belief in his potential bore fruit as he embarked on a journey of positive transformation.

Today, Samdol has learned how to walk on a leash and displays a markedly improved demeanor. He once cowered in fear, but now he follows the lead of his trainers with trust and excitement. His physical appearance has also improved remarkably, reflecting his healthier and happier state.

Although Samdol remains reserved around new faces, he’s quick to warm up and reveal his sweet and friendly nature once he’s familiar. With intelligence and attentiveness, he’s a quick learner who listens well. His progress also extends to interacting with fellow canines, as he actively participates in group classes and displays promising social behavior.

Samdol’s journey has been remarkable, marked by his growing openness to people and the development of trust. Yet, there’s still a way to go, and achieving this transformation is a collaborative effort. Providing Samdol with the training and support he deserves is our mission, but we can’t do it alone. We need your support to continue helping Samdol thrive and reach his full potential. Your contribution is a vital part of Samdol’s journey towards a brighter future.
