Background: Rumi was rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea, and has been living at our boarding house with other dogs since. From the start, she’s shown nothing but sweetness and joy.

Personality and Socialization: Rumi is a happy-go-lucky girl with a gentle heart. She’s affectionate, friendly, and always ready to share her love—with both people and dogs. She’s great with men and strangers alike, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and open heart. With other dogs, she’s a playful social butterfly. Whether they’re big, small, old, or puppies, Rumi loves them all—especially those who enjoy playing as much as she does.

With medium energy, she has a lovely balance—she plays with joy, naps soundly, and is always content just being around her people and dog friends.

Behaviours: Indoors, Rumi is quiet. She hasn’t shown any destructive behaviours and has good house manners. While she prefers to do her business outside, she’s also pee pad trained when needed. She’s good in the car, well-behaved at the vet, and even bath time is no problem for her.

Leash walking is still new to her, but she’s picking it up with curiosity and eagerness. She loves to follow her humans and learn by their side.

Health and Diet: Rumi is spayed, fully vaccinated, and receives monthly parasite prevention. She eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Rumi is affectionate, cuddly, and full of love—she’ll bring happiness wherever she goes. She would thrive in a home where someone works from home or has another playful dog companion. She’s still young and would love a home where she’s not left alone for long stretches.

Rumi is smart, loyal, and easy-going. She’s the kind of dog who makes every day better. Whoever adopts her will truly be lucky to call her family.
