Rubi

Background: Rubi was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, as part of the “Save 100 Dogs” project. Since then, she has been living with other dogs in our boarding house in Korea.

Personality and Socialization: Rubi is everything you’d hope for in a Lab mix—happy, affectionate, and always ready to shower you with smooches. With a medium energy level, she has a joyful, happy-go-lucky spirit and truly lights up around people and other dogs. She’s the type of dog who greets you with a wagging tail and a big, beautiful smile, always eager to make new friends. Her social and friendly nature makes her a perfect fit for most families. While she hasn’t been tested with cats or young children, her gentle personality suggests she would adapt well with proper introductions.

Behaviour: Rubi is a joy to have around. She walks nicely on a leash and loves going on outdoor adventures. She’s calm during car rides, does well at the vet, and doesn’t mind bath time. She’s mostly house-trained and prefers to go potty outside but will use pee pads if needed. She is quiet indoors and well mannered.

Health and Diet: Rubi is in excellent health. She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, and she receives monthly parasite prevention. She eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Rubi would thrive in a home that truly enjoys the company of dogs. Someone working from home or retired and has a lot of spare time to spend with their dog would be ideal. She’d be happy to have another friendly canine friend, but she’s also perfectly content being the only dog—as long as she’s surrounded by love and included in daily life. An ideal match would be someone who works from home or is retired and has plenty of time to spend with her. With her affectionate, gentle nature and loyal heart, Rubi makes a wonderful companion. Whoever welcomes her home will gain a loving best friend for life.
