Popo 3

Background: Popo was rescued from a city pound in Anseong, Korea, last fall. Since her rescue, she has been residing at our partner shelter with other dogs.

Socialization and Personality: Popo is a charming and affectionate dog who is very friendly and social. She enjoys human companionship and thrives on attention. Popo is not intimidated by men or strangers and readily seeks affection from everyone she meets. She is highly obedient and eager to please her human companions.

While Popo generally gets along well with other dogs, she can sometimes become overly attached to certain dogs, leading to excessive licking and following them. Popo has no prior experience with cats or young children.

Behaviours: Popo is well-mannered on a leash and enjoys going for walks. She travels well in the car and handles vet visits and bath time calmly. Popo is highly responsive and follows her human’s lead. She is a very affectionate and cuddly dog who enjoys snuggling with her people. She is generally quiet indoors and does not bark much. She uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty areas. Popo is an agile dog and can easily jump over low fences or baby gates.

Health and Diet: Popo was successfully treated for heartworms upon her rescue. She is now in good health and ready to find her forever home. Popo is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She receives monthly parasite preventative. Popo enjoys eating dry kibble twice a day and has not shown any signs of allergies.

Ideal Home: Popo will thrive in a home where she receives plenty of love and attention from her human companions. Due to her tendency to become overly attached to certain dogs, it is recommended that she be adopted as the only dog in the household. She seems calmer and more peaceful when she is with people only.

Popo is a highly affectionate, obedient, and loyal dog who enjoys spending time with her people. Whoever adopts this sweetheart will be very lucky.
