Get monthly updates about dogs like Nuri and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Nuri, along with her two puppies, was rescued from a dog meat farm in Gunpo, Korea three years ago. Her puppies were soon adopted in the US, but Nuri was not as fortunate and had to move between two shelters before finally settling in our partner boarding house last year.

Nuri is a friendly and gentle dog with a high level of intelligence and affection. She is very adaptable and gets along well with dogs of all ages and personalities. When playing with puppies, she is playful, but with senior dogs, she is respectful and calm.

Nuri enjoys going for walks and behaves well on a leash. There have been no instances of food aggression and she waits patiently during meal times. The boarding house manager describes her as an ideal companion with an obedient, docile, and patient personality.

She would be a great addition to a family that has experience with large dogs and enjoys outdoor activities with their furry friend. Nuri is an easy-going and affectionate companion who would be happy as either a second dog or the only pet in the home.
