Mocha

Mocha was abandoned at a high kill shelter in Gangneung, Korea. When no one came to claim him, he was put on the euthanasia list.  He was adopted by a family in 2018, but was recently surrendered back to us through no fault of his own. His previous adopter’s family experienced changes in personal circumstances beyond their control and felt they no longer had the ability to care for him the way he deserved. He is currently living with a foster in Toronto.

Despite the sudden changes he did not understand, he has been very brave and optimistic. Generally, he likes to stay close by and loves all people. Mocha is a very sweet and gentle boy who loves people. He has been seeking out humans for comfort and enjoys a good snuggle.

Mocha has a mellow and quiet personality. He does well with other dogs and is playful and friendly so as along as they are not too dominant and bossy in personality. He is house trained and walks well on leash, and is the perfect car companion. He sits in the front seat and watches the world go by.

We know it was extremely difficult and confusing for Mocha to leave his family, and we promised him we’d find him the absolute perfect family to love him and help him heal. We are looking for a home consisting of a small family (2-3 people) who live a relaxed lifestyle. His ideal adopter would be someone who is retired, works from home, or is a home maker where he can simply hang out and passively enjoy the company of his humans during the day. He will be an amazing companion to a very lucky family.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
