Mawooma, currently in a foster home in Vancouver, was rescued in September 2023 from a neglectful situation in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do. She was often tied to a pole with little food or water. Despite her tough start, she adapted well to city life and noise.

Volunteers of all ages admire Mawooma’s loving and gentle nature. She enjoys solitude, relaxation, and offers comfort. She’s intelligent, independent, and has good dental health. She loves leisurely walks, isn’t bothered by city sounds, and enjoys nose work games.

Mawooma may be shy with new dogs and places, but she is not aggressive. She appreciates gentle approaches and gradual change. In most cases, given time, she adapts and adjusts well. Mawooma likes gentle and friendly dogs but is not a big fan of hyper or dominant dogs.

Mawooma loves going for a walk. She is good on a leash but can pull if she sees small animals on the streets.
