Manbong

Background: Manbong was rescued earlier this year from a city shelter in Chuncheon, Korea. Since then, he’s been living safely at our boarding house, sharing his space with other dogs.

Personality and Socialization: Manbong is a sociable and friendly boy with a sweet, affectionate nature. He has a medium energy level and enjoys being around people. Friendly even with strangers, Manbong loves cuddles and is a affectionate companionship.

With other dogs, he gets along best with those who are friendly and playful. He loves zoomies. If another dog is too dominant or pushy, Manbong will simply walk away—he avoids conflict and prefers peaceful interactions.

Behaviors: Manbong is well-mannered and easy to care for. However, he gets nervous in new environments, so a gradual and gentle transition is best. He handles car rides and bath time well, though he can be nervous when being brushed or groomed—regular practice helps. Indoors, he’s quiet, non-destructive, and pee pad trained. While he hasn’t had much leash training yet, he naturally likes to stay close to his people. With gentle guidance, he adjusts well over time.

Health and Diet: Manbong is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He receives monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. He has no known allergies and enjoys his dry kibble twice a day.

Ideal Home: Manbong is overall an easygoing boy. He would be happiest in a home with another friendly, playful dog, as he loves to play with other dogs. A family with plenty of time to spend with him and keep him engaged would be ideal.
