Lali is a resilient survivor with a heart full of love. Fortunately, she was one of the dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Jinan, Korea, last spring. Just imagine a life in a dark, dirty cage inside a makeshift house, without fresh air or sunlight – that was her reality. Forced breeding for profit was all she knew. But then, a miracle happened – the puppy mill was shut down, and all these babies were saved.
Lali’s journey continued, and for the last five months, she has lived in two different boarding houses. She recently came under our care, and we made sure she received thorough vet check-ups. She is healthy and ready for her forever home now.
Lali is a shy but gentle and sweet baby. She wants to be close to her humans but is unsure how to approach them. Once held, she sits on your lap and seems cozy. She gets along great with other dogs, and we’re looking for a family with small, friendly dogs who can be companions to Lali and with whom she can bond.
The ideal adopter for Lali is someone with experience in caring for shy dogs and at least one friendly small dog. Someone who is retired and works from home would be ideal.
