Kyungyi

Background: Last winter, Kyungyi and her siblings were facing a heartbreaking future, at risk of being euthanized. Thankfully, a kind soul stepped in and saved her just in time. She lived at a foster home for awhile but was returned to a shelter due to the foster’s personal reasons.

Personality and Socialization: Kyungyi is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to be around people and other dogs. She’s friendly, always happy to greet visitors, and gets along well with other dogs. She’s never been in a fight since joining her foster family, showing just how well-socialized she is.

Behaviors: Kyungyi loves spending time with her people and enjoys making them happy. She listens to commands and has recently learned how to handle stairs, the elevator, and even car rides. Her loyal and protective nature makes her a wonderful companion, and she’s always eager to please. She’s OK with car rides, baths, and walks, and enjoys spending time outdoors. However, she hasn’t had experience with cats or young children.

Health and Diet: Kyungyi is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She also takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites. She’s a healthy girl, ready to bring peace and love to her forever home. She enjoys dry kibbles twice a day. Currently, there are no known allergies.

Ideal Home: The ideal adopter for Kyungyi would be someone with lots of time to share with her—perhaps a retiree or someone who works from home. She’d also do well alone or with another friendly, playful dog of similar size. With her sweet and gentle nature, Kyungyi will be a wonderful companion for anyone fortunate enough to bring her into their home.
