Last fall, Kyungeun, and her brother were rescued from the streets of Paju, Korea. While her brother, Jay, was lucky enough to be adopted by a family in Toronto, Kyungeun is still looking for her forever home in Vancouver.

It took Kyungeun about 3-4 days to warm up in her foster home after arriving. While timid in the beginning, she has now become her foster’s shadow is follows her around everywhere. She rolls around happily and stands up to have her back rubbed. With her gentle and submissive demeanor and is good around children. She is also very smart and knows most commands, and is comfortable with tooth brushing, bathing, and car rides. On the leash, she is well-behaved and easy to handle.

Kyungeun is a sweet and friendly girl who gets along well with other dogs, regardless of their size or personality. She is currently living with another dog and cat at her foster home, whom she plays well with (and often is the one initiating play) She also shares the home with a cat whom she was initially afraid of, but continues to improve as she is given more socialization.

She is potty trained and very food motivated. Going for walks, lounging in the grass, and observing people and other dogs are among her favorite activities. She walks well over, but likes to chase birds.

Kyungeun would do well with an adopter who works from home or is retired and has plenty of time to spend with her. She would thrive in a quiet neighborhood with opportunities for outdoor activities, and having another furry sibling to play with would be ideal. If you’re looking for a sweet loving companion, Kyungeun could be the perfect fit for you.
