Kiwi was one of the lucky dogs rescued from a puppy mill in Namyangjoo, Korea last spring. These poor dogs were stuck in a dark, dirty cage inside a makeshift house, without fresh air or sunlight. Their lives were all about forced breeding for profit. But a miracle happened – the puppy mill was shut down, and all these babies were saved, thanks to the combined efforts of many caring hearts.

Kiwi’s journey continued as she lived in two different boarding houses for the last five months. Recently, she came under our care, and we made sure she got thorough comprehensive vet check-ups. Following successful teeth extraction, scaling, blood work, and thorough heart examination, we also screened her for parasites and heartworms, along with assessing her joints and patella. The great news is that she’s in good health and all set for her forever home.

Kiwi is a sociable and sweet little one. She gets along well with other dogs, especially smaller ones, but she’s not a fan of big, hyper dogs; they scare her. What makes her happiest is being with her human, hanging out, or going for a walk. She’ll thrive with someone who leads a quieter life and has plenty of time for their furry friend.

Kiwi adores going for walks, behaves well on a leash, and is a champ in the car. She’s patient and rarely complains, staying quiet most of the time. An ideal adopter for Kiwi would be someone who’s retired or works from home and can be with her most of the time. Even if you’re a first-time dog parent, she’ll make an easy-going companion you’ll adore.
