Get monthly updates about dogs like Kamji and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.
Background: Kamji is one of the fortunate dogs rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, this summer as part of the “Save 100 dogs” project. Since his rescue, he has been living with other dogs at our partner boarding house.
Personality and Socialization: Kamji is a happy and playful little one. It took about a couple of days for him to warm up to the staff at the boarding house, and he is now very sweet and friendly. Although he’s still learning how to snuggle, Kamji loves being close to his humans and would likely learn quickly. He isn’t demanding or dominant; just a little attention makes him so happy that his tail can’t stop wagging. Kamji is happiest when he’s with other small, friendly dogs, and he would thrive as a second dog in a household.
Behavior: While he gets a bit nervous in the car or during baths, he trusts his humans and lets them handle everything. Kamji has limited experience with leash walks, but with another confident dog by his side, he’ll learn quickly.
Health and Diet: Kamji has completed all medical examinations and is in excellent health, ready for his new family. He is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and receives regular parasite treatments. Kamji enjoys Acana dry kibbles, made in Canada, and is fed twice daily. Currently, there are no known allergies.
Ideal Home: Kamji is a loving and very sweet little fur baby. He would do best with a family looking for a second dog. Kamji is happiest when he’s with friendly and confident dogs and gets along well with them. A home where someone is likely home most of the time would be perfect for him.
