Background: Kami was rescued from a city pound in Hongseong, Korea last summer where he was on the euthanasia list. He had a rough time there, being attacked by other dogs which left his left eye severely injured. Fortunately, he was saved just in time and is now living with other dogs at our partner boarding house. He underwent eye removal surgery and has recovered from it. He is happy and healthy, ready for this new life in Canada.
Personality and Socialization: Kami is an angel who possesses a positive and joyful demeanor. Despite enduring neglect and a severe eye injury, upon arrival, Kami wagged his tail nonstop, exuding friendliness and sweetness. Even during his rest period in the crate following eye surgery, he exhibited quiet and patient behavior, showing his understanding and obedience.
Behaviors: Kami currently uses pee pads but also likes to do his potty outside. He is comfortable with baths and car rides. Although he is not very experienced with leash walking, he is quick to learn and follows instructions well.
Health: Kami is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He receives monthly parasite preventatives and has fully recovered from his eye removal surgery. No further treatments are needed, and he is in good health and spirits.
Ideal Home: Kami’s ideal adopter would be someone who either works from home or is retired, providing him with plenty of time and attention. He loves spending time with his humans, snuggling, and receiving care and love. A home where Kami can be the center of attention would be perfect for him. Whoever adopts this charming boy will be very lucky.
