Joey was found on the highway; she was hit by the car and bleeding. She was taken to the vet right away but her front leg was broken and also we discovered that she had heartworms. It took about six months for her to complete all medical treatments. She is now heartworms-free and her leg is healed. Joey still limps a little bit when she walks around. The vet said that she needs regular exercises to build more muscles.
The best part of Joey is of course her personality and temperament. She is very gentle, submissive, and sweet; She has never got into fights with other dogs. Always friendly, social and goofy (yes! she is Golden Retriever!). Joey’s favorite thing is to play with people and going for walks.
The ideal adopter is someone with a lot of spare time for Joey and also enjoys outdoor walks. It will be better for her to live in a quiet neighborhood than a busy downtown city.

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
