Get monthly updates about dogs like Jennie and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Background: Jennie is a sweet and loving girl who was rescued last summer in Mokpo, Korea. She was left chained outside, surviving on scraps of human food and waste. It was a miracle that her neglectful owner finally agreed to surrender her, giving her a second chance at life. Now, Jennie is thriving at our boarding house, enjoying the company of other dogs. She’s ready for a loving forever home where she will always be cherished.

Personality and Socialization: Jennie is a happy, positive, and social dog with medium to high energy. She adores people—both men and women—and is friendly with strangers. She is not shy around new faces and thrives on attention. Jennie also gets along well with other dogs, big or small, as long as they are friendly. However, she has no experience with cats or young children.

Behaviour: Jennie enjoys walks and spending time outdoors. While living in a foster home, she had another dog for companionship and showed no signs of separation anxiety or destructive behavior. It seems that having another dog to keep her company makes her feel secure. She was house-trained at the time and, at the boarding house, prefers to potty outdoors but will use indoor pee pads when necessary. Indoors, she is quiet and rarely barks. Jennie is also well-behaved in the car, at vet checkups, and during grooming or baths.

Health and Diet: Jennie has undergone a full veterinary checkup and is healthy and ready for her forever home. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She also takes monthly parasite preventatives and has been dewormed. She eats kibble twice a day and has shown no allergies.

Ideal Home: Jennie is a gentle, friendly, and loving dog who would be a great fit for a first-time dog owner or a household looking for a second dog. Given her affectionate and social nature, she would do well in most families. However, we prefer a home where someone works from home or is retired and can spend most of the day with her, as being around people is her favorite thing.
