Background: Izzy was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea last year and previously lived with other dogs at a dog training school. About two months ago, Izzy moved to our partner boarding house and lived there with other dogs until she left Korea.
Living Environment: She currently resides with a cat and dog in a foster home in Vancouver.
Personality: Izzy is very mellow, gentle, submissive, and friendly, making her an ideal companion for someone seeking a gentle friend.
Behaviors: Izzy walks well on the leash, enjoys outdoor time, rides comfortably in the car, and is calm during baths. She is generally quiet indoors, only barking out of joy during meal preparation. Izzy is non-destructive and well-behaved.
Socialization: Izzy gets along well with other dogs as long as they are gentle and friendly. She is more submissive, choosing to walk away if pushed by other dogs. She has never been in a fight with other dogs and is always gentle and sweet with people, preferring to stay close to them.
Health: Izzy has undergone thorough vet check-ups and is healthy with no concerns. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes have been administered, and she has not shown any allergies so far.
Ideal home: The perfect adopter for Izzy would be someone who works from home or is retired, with plenty of time to dedicate to their dog. Another gentle and friendly furry sibling would also be a great match.
