Hoya was rescued from Masan city pound (highkill shetler) last year. Someone in the US saw Hoya and wanted to adopt him, so Hoya was saved from being euthanized. The adopter in the US promised to come to Korea to get Hoya. He waited for six months at a foster home, but the adopter didn’t keep his promise. The poor baby was sent back to a shelter. When he was a tiny puppy, many people showed an interest. But after being returned to the shelter, no one wanted to adopt the fully grown Jindo. Sadly, Hoya’s name appeared to a euthanasia list again. It was so lucky that Hoya was saved by a shelter volunteer on the day of euthanasia. Since then he has been living with other dogs in a boarding house.
Hoya gets along fine with other dogs if they are not hyper or dominant. But most times, he is not very interested in playing with other dogs.
In fact, Hoya’s favorite thing is to spend time with people; sitting beside people and showing affection are something that make him happy.
We are particularly looking for someone who is retired or works from home. Someone who lives a relaxed lifestyle and enjoys spending time with a dog like Hoya would be ideal.
