Rescued from a dog meat farm in Dangjin on September 1, 2018, Heendoongyi’s past was marred by trauma. Originally showing aggressive tendencies towards both people and other dogs, he was placed in a dog training school where he spent four transformative years.
In the school, Heendoongyi formed a deep bond with a single trainer, showcasing his ability to trust and connect. However, other trainers found it challenging to approach him. When his trusted trainer left the institution, the decision was made to move Heendoongyi to our boarding house for his continued care.
The passage of time and the wisdom of age have made Heendoongyi slightly calmer than he once was, but he remains untouchable and very cautious of strangers. Given his history and natural reservations, finding a forever home is a challenging prospect.
