Get monthly updates about dogs like Hayoung and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Hayoung was a four-month-old puppy when she was rescued from a high-kill shelter along with her sibling back in January 2018. Throughout her journey, Hayoung has experienced different foster families, but she has finally settled into her current foster home, which includes a young child and an apartment setting.

Her behavior indoors has been really great, displaying no barking or separation anxiety. She is comfortable with baths, hairdryers, and car rides, making her a low-maintenance and easygoing companion. Hayoung is undoubtedly a people’s dog, thriving on human companionship and showing great affection and obedience.

She has also proven to be quite sociable with other dogs, including small ones. However, she prefers to avoid overly dominant and hyperactive dogs, simply choosing to walk away from them. When outside on walks, Hayoung gets excited and pulls the leash when she sees cats or birds. It’s best to find a home without small animals.

In terms of her health, Hayoung underwent successful disc surgery in November 2022, and her recovery has been good. Although she has regained her mobility, it’s essential for her adopter to continue monitoring her and provide regular exercise to strengthen her back legs and build muscle around them.

Hayoung is an independent and easygoing furry companion, making her an excellent fit for various households. Whether it’s a single-person household or a large family, she’ll flourish with a caring and committed owner who understands her needs and is willing to provide the love and care she deserves. If you are ready to open your heart and home to a loving and loyal dog like Hayoung, you’ll be rewarded with endless cuddles and unforgettable moments.

Hayoung is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Hayoung is $580.
