Harper

Background: Harper was rescued from a city pound in Changwon, Korea this spring—just in time before she was scheduled to be euthanized. Since then, she’s been living safely at our boarding house with other dogs, patiently waiting for her forever family to find her.

Personality and Socialization: Harper is a smart, sociable, and affectionate girl with a cheerful and loving personality. She warms up to new people quickly and is friendly even with strangers. Harper thrives on human companionship and enjoys going for walks and spending time with her people. She’s a quick learner and responds well to guidance.

With other dogs, Harper gets along well—especially with those who are friendly and playful like her. She tends to avoid dogs who are overly hyper or dominant. Harper hasn’t been tested with cats or young children, but she may do well with proper, slow introductions.

Behaviours: Harper loves cuddling and being near her humans, but she’s also content playing with her toys or relaxing quietly by herself. She prefers to do her business outside but will use pee pads if needed. She’s well-mannered during car rides, bath time, and vet visits.

Health and Diet: She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and receives monthly parasite prevention. She also recently had dental work and had one tooth removed. One thing to note is that during her time at the city pound, she was attacked by other dogs, which left a scar on the back of her head. It has completely healed. Harper eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: She’s a very loving and affectionate little love bug. She’d be a great match for first-time dog parents, someone looking for a friendly second dog, or a retired person wanting a cuddly companion. Whoever adopts this sweet girl will be very lucky.
