Get monthly updates about dogs like Halim and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

In the summer of 2021, Halim was rescued from the streets of Paju, Korea and taken to a city pound. Fortunately, he was saved from being put down and soon after found a caring foster home.

Under the care of his foster family, Halim completed an obedience course and demonstrated his intelligence, obedience, and affectionate nature. It is unfortunate that although Halim has been more than ready for his forever home, he has had no luck in finding one in Korea.

While he may initially be reserved around new people, Halim is a loving and amiable companion once he gets to know them. He loves cuddles and playtime with his toys while in the company of his foster family, and he is well-mannered and quiet indoors.

Halim is also quite amicable towards other dogs, regardless of their size or personality, and is rather submissive in nature. He delights in going for walks, lounging on the grass, and observing people and other dogs. After his walks, Halim patiently waits for his foster to clean his paws.

Halim’s ideal adopter would be someone who is either retired or works from home and has an ample amount of time to spend with their four-legged companion. A serene neighborhood with outdoor opportunities and another fur sibling for Halim to play with would be an ideal environment for him.
