Haewon was rescued from a dog meat restaurent in Changnyung, Korea. Haewon and his friend, Soojung, were captured in a cage in front of the restaurent waiting to be slaughtered. It was so lucky that a Buddhist nun passing by saw them shaking in the cage. She bought them from the restaurent owner. After being rescued, they lived in a shelter run by the Buddhist nun until last winter.
It was very lucky for Soojung to find her forever home in Vancouver last November, but Haewon is still waiting for his forever home at a boarding house. The first few weeks at the boarding house was tough for Haewon espcially after his best friend, Soojung left for Vancouver.
Haewon is still a little bit shy around strangers, but he is very sweet and obedient to people that he knows. It just takes some time for him to open up and build trust.
Haewon plays well with other dogs; sometimes he shows dominance around other dogs, but has never made a big trouble. Haewon is a sweet and smart boy. He will be a great companion.

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
