Meet Goatee, a charming pup born from a stray dog who found shelter in a private facility. Goatee recently joined our partner boarding house, where he lives harmoniously with other dogs.

Goatee is a very lovable and adorable pup. He’s sweet, gentle, and quite submissive, always avoiding conflicts. He’s a bit of a “chicken dog,” easily startled and preferring to stay out of trouble. Yet, he exudes a mellow and friendly demeanor.

With people, Goatee may start a bit shy, but his curiosity quickly takes over, and he warms up to new faces. He adores snuggling and being petted, often choosing to sit close by. He’s not much of a barker and is very obedient.

As he’s spent most of his time in a shelter, leash walking is a skill he’s still acquiring, so patience and some leash training will be necessary for his adopter.

The perfect match for Goatee would be someone with prior dog experience. While he’s suitable for first-time dog parents due to his gentle nature, he’ll thrive even more with caregivers knowledgeable in dog care and training. A home with a securely fenced backyard would make leash training smoother, and the presence of another friendly dog would be a valuable learning opportunity for him.

Goatee is a sweet, loving boy who adores being around people. If you’re an experienced dog owner with time, a safe backyard, and a big heart, Goatee might just become your dream fur baby.
