Gaon

Background: Gaon was rescued from a city pound in Yangsan, Korea. After spending some time at another shelter, she recently joined our partner boarding house, where she quickly settled in.

Personality and Socialization: From the moment Gaon arrived at our partner boarding house, she was eager to make friends with everyone. She immediately began smooching the staff and playing with the other dogs with ease. Gaon is a happy, playful dog with a bright smile and a medium energy level. She’s always ready to spread joy wherever she goes.

Behaviors: Gaon loves playing with other dogs and is well-behaved indoors. She listens to the staff very well and isn’t overly nervous in the car—though she was a bit anxious at first, she handled the ride well overall. While baths aren’t her favorite, she allows trusted people to bathe her without fuss. She also walks nicely on a leash, although she’s naturally curious and loves to sniff everything around her.

Health and Diet: Gaon is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She also takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites. She’s a healthy girl, ready to bring peace and love to her forever home. Gaon enjoys Acana dry kibble, made in Canada, and is fed twice daily. Currently, there are no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Gaon’s ideal adopter would be someone who works from home or is retired, with plenty of time to spend with her. She’s a happy girl who enjoys both human companionship and playing with other dogs. With her easygoing and cheerful personality, Gaon would be a great match for a first-time dog parent or someone looking to add a second dog to their family.
