Gangyi

Background: Gangyi was rescued from a city pound in Chuncheon, Korea, last December during our “Save 100 Dogs” campaign. Because our boarding house was full at the time, she stayed at a nearby training school with other rescue dogs. Recently, she was finally able to join us—and since then, she’s been nothing but happy, wagging her tail like she knows she’s finally where she belongs.

Personality and Socialization: Gangyi is an affectionate and cheerful girl with a bright, playful spirit. She’s smart, friendly, and loves being around both people and other dogs. She’s especially happy when she’s playing with a dog friend or snuggled up next to her human. She gives the sweetest kisses and always brings good energy wherever she goes.

Behaviour: She enjoys her daily walks and loves being outdoors. Whether it’s exploring the neighborhood or playing with her toys, Gangyi is always up for some fun. Indoors, she’s chill and well-mannered, and she’s happy to keep herself entertained when it’s time to wind down. She does good in the car, during baths, and even at the vet.

Health and Diet: Gangyi is in excellent health. She’s been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all her vaccinations. Her parasite screenings, including heartworm, were all clear, and she takes monthly preventatives. She eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies.

Ideal Home: Gangyi would thrive in a home with a family that enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with their dog. She’d be over the moon to have a friendly, playful canine sibling, but she’d also be perfectly happy as your one and only—just as long as she has company throughout the day. A home with someone who works from home or has another dog to keep her company would be ideal.
