Last spring, we found Ellie and her friend on the streets in Taean, Korea. Her buddy was lucky and got adopted in Vancouver just last month. Now, it’s Ellie’s turn to find a loving home. She had to get treatment for anaplasmosis last year, but she is healthy now and excited to find her forever family!
Ellie spent last year in a foster home, and more recently, she joined our boarding house to prepare for her adoption. When we first met her, she was a bit shy, understandably so after her rough start. But it only took two days for her to open up. Ellie has blossomed into a sweet and incredibly friendly companion.
Her gentle and submissive nature shines through in her interactions with other dogs. Even if some of them pester her to play, she never loses her cool. Instead, she gracefully walks away if it’s not her cup of tea. Ellie is the definition of a mellow and good-natured dog who gets along wonderfully with her four-legged pals.
When it comes to people, Ellie may take a couple of days to warm up, but once she does, prepare for a tidal wave of affection. She’s a loyal and loving companion who walks well on a leash and is calm in the car. Bath time is fine with her, as she patiently endures it without complaint. Obedient and eager to please, Ellie is the kind of furry friend who will steal your heart in no time.
