**Note: Dori is available for adoption in Toronto. His flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for May 26.

Background: Dori was saved from a city pound in Iksan, Korea just before facing euthanasia. After living in another shelter initially, he relocated to our partner boarding house earlier this spring, where he now lives with other dogs.

Personality: Dori is a gentle, quiet, obedient dog with a medium energy level. He thrives in a quiet and serene environment.

Behaviors: Dori is well-behaved and quiet indoors. He is not destructive and has shown no signs of separation anxiety so far. He enjoys walks and outdoor activities, is comfortable in a car, and tolerates baths well.

Socialization: Dori gets along well with other dogs and avoids conflicts but he prefers a tranquil setting. He is happiest when with humans in a peaceful environment rather than amidst loud or hyperactive dogs. While initially a little bit shy around strangers, he warms up quickly, becoming friendly and affectionate. Dori has no experience with cats or young children.

Health: When Dori was rescued, he had heartworms. After undergoing heartworm treatments, he is now healthy and heartworm-free. Dori has been neutered, microchipped, and received a clean bill of health during his check-up. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and receives monthly parasite prevention.

Ideal Home: Dori would thrive in a home with someone leading a peaceful and relaxed lifestyle. For individuals seeking a calm, gentle, independent dog who also enjoys outdoor activities, Dori would be the perfect companion.
