Donghee

Last winter, Donghee and her siblings were rescued from a small park in Paju, Korea. Since then, Donghee had been living in a shelter with other dogs until this spring. However, she now resides with a foster family.

When Donghee first arrived at the shelter, she was very timid and shy around strangers. However, over time, she has developed trust and become very affectionate towards the people she feels comfortable with. She has spent the past two months in foster care.

Initially, Donghee was a bit shy, especially around her foster dad. As the only dog in the household, she experienced some confusion and nervousness in the beginning. Nonetheless, she has made good progress. Donghee enjoys playing with her toys and is quiet indoors, so far, has not shown any signs of separation anxiety.

Donghee is very friendly toward other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She gets along well with other dogs without any issues. The foster has a bird, but Donghee has been very gentle with her. Going for walks is Donghee’s absolute favorite activity. When outside, she exudes happiness, playfulness, and confidence. She loves stopping to sniff things and thoroughly enjoys her walks.

Donghee is actively seeking an adopter who has experience with dogs like her and understands their needs. The ideal adopter would be patient, compassionate, and willing to invest time in Donghee’s care. Ideally, the adopter should either work from home or be retired and willing to engage in outdoor activities with Donghee.

While it is not a requirement, having another friendly dog in the household would help Donghee build her confidence further.

Vaccination Details

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
