Get monthly updates about dogs like Doe and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Doe stands as one of the eighty-three fortunate rescue dogs who escaped the harrowing clutches of the Dangjin dog meat farm in 2018. The horrors of that place left indelible images of suffering etched in our memories. Amidst the cages and the suffocating darkness, Doe cowered, his eyes unable to meet the gaze of humans, a poignant reflection of the trauma he had endured.

Following his rescue, Doe embarked on a transformational journey alongside fellow dosa dogs at a training school. Initially gripped by fear, he displayed a curious spirit. Leash training was a challenge at first, but over time, he learned that nothing bad would happen, and he grew comfortable wearing it.

Currently, Doe lives in a private home with other dogs rescued from the same dog meat farm. He is friendly and gentle around people, and loves being around children. He is extremely happy when he is with people he loves. Doe would be a great companion in Canada, but his weight is too much for the airlines’ limits.

While Doe has warmed up to people, he remains cautious around other dogs, a common behavior observed in dog meat farm rescues. He has his own kennel, where he spends most of his time.

As Doe advances in age, he encounters physical challenges such as joint pains, which necessitate ongoing support. Your decision to become his sponsor would provide Doe with the care and comfort he needs for the remainder of his life in Korea. Your generosity ensures that Doe can continue his inspiring journey with dignity and well-being.
