**Note: Djoy is currently with her foster family in Vancouver.

Background: Djoy was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Gyeonggi-do, Korea in 2020. She lived with other dogs in a private shelter until she left Korea. She is now in Vancouver.

Living environment: Currently, she is living with a foster in an apartment in Vancouver and is used to city apartment living.

Personality: Djoy is pretty chill most times. She is generally quiet indoors and calm, mellow, relaxed, and independent.

Socialization: She gets along well with other dogs as long as they are friendly and respectful. She is well-balanced and can ignore dogs that are reactive towards her. She will let other dogs know if they are too energetic or too close, but always in a normal and healthy way. She is happiest when spending time with her humans and is generally fine with strangers. With people, she is mostly good and indifferent to children but may not be suitable for a home with cats.

Behavior: She walks well on a leash but may pull when she sees squirrels. She is good in the car and enjoys hikes. She is house-trained and very mellow and relaxed at home, although she is scared of loud noises like the dishwasher or vacuum.

Health: He underwent a comprehensive veterinary checkup and is in good health with no concerns. He has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. Additionally, he receives monthly prevention for internal and external parasites.

Ideal adopter: Djoy would thrive in a relaxed, quiet environment with a secure yard as a bonus. She does best in a quiet home with humans around and enjoys walks and outdoor time. Another calm dog would be fine, and someone who can spend time outdoors with her, work from home with a flexible schedule, or a retired couple would be great for her calm and chill nature.
