Background: Dawook was one of nine puppies discovered on the streets of Korea when they were just two months old. Despite facing euthanasia at a city pound, all the puppies were saved. While Dawook’s siblings quickly found foster homes, Dawook had to remain at a shelter due to ongoing treatment for his skin condition.

Living Environment: Currently, Dawook lives in a shelter alongside other dogs.

Personality: Dawook exudes happiness and positivity, displaying a sociable nature with a moderate energy level. He is easy-going, playful, and enjoys interacting with others.

Behaviors: Dawook is social and enjoys the company of other dogs, particularly relishing games of chase and playtime. He walks well on a leash, rides comfortably in a car, and responds well to training, especially when treats are involved.

Socialization: Dawook is drawn to people and shows no hesitation towards men. He thrives on human interaction, especially with those who are kind and attentive. He has not had exposure to cats or children.

Health: Dawook is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and receives monthly flea, tick, and mosquito preventatives. He is microchipped and has shown no food allergies thus far.

Ideal Home: Dawook is an affectionate and charming companion who would thrive in a loving home. Prospective adopters should be prepared to provide care, patience, and training as Dawook has limited experience. He would do well as either the sole dog or in a household with another canine companion. Individuals who work from home or are retired with ample time would be ideal matches for him.

Dawook is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Dawook is $780.
