Dalsoon 2

Dalsoon was rescued from a small village located in Chuncheon, Korea where she was neglected by her owner. After being brought to safety, she lived at our partner boarding house with other dogs until she left Korea in search of her forever home in Canada.

She currently lives in a condo setting with another jindo who is a FKD alumni. Her foster reports she has a relaxed and mellow demeanor, which makes it easy for her to get along with other dogs, although she is mostly indifferent to them. She has a mild energy level and is not demanding. If you’re looking for Dalsoon, she is hanging out on her bed or having a nap.

Although Dalsoon is a bit reserved with strangers, she will lick you non-stop once she has warmed up! Despite this, she is also independent and doesn’t need constant attention from her humans, making her low-maintenance to take care of.

Dalsoon is potty trained and does her business outdoors. While she loves a good nap indoors, she loves being outdoors more. When outside, she is curious and loves to take her time sniffing and exploring the world through new smells. While she has good leash manners overall, they could be improved as she can get distracted outdoors. She has no experience with cats, but does not display much of a prey drive, so with the right integration she may do well in a home with felines.

Her ideal home would be with someone who has plenty of spare time to spend with her. Dalsoon would do great with those who enjoy doing leisurely outdoor activities, such as walks around the parks and hikes. She would love a secure backyard where she can have space of her own to hang out, although this is not a requirement for adoption.

DHPPL, Canine Influenza, Kennel Cough, Rabies, Corona, Heartworm test, Giardia test, Flea & tick & heartworm prevention are all done.
