Chami was rescued from a puppy mill in Namyangju, Korea last summer. She lived with other dogs at our partner boarding house until she left Korea. Currently, she lives in a foster home in Vancouver.

This playful girl is a bundle of joy: she loves socializing with her canine companions. She’s great on walks, displaying good leash manners. Chami is not only friendly and affectionate with people, but she’s also a quick learner, easily grasping basic commands and eager to discover new things. Indoors, she’s adept at using pee pads and is equally comfortable with outdoor bathroom breaks.

After comprehensive vet checkups, Chami is in good health. Her only medical issue is a dry eye condition in her right eye, which is managed with Optimmune eye cream (or a similar product like Optixcare Hyaluron). We apply it twice daily ($30~$50/month). The vet indicated that it was unclear whether this condition was congenital or developed from an untreated infection at the puppy mill. This condition may improve over time or might require ongoing care. However, this doesn’t affect her cheerful nature at all.

Overall, Chami is in great health and is a sweet, smart, and loving girl, ready to enrich her forever home with joy and companionship. The family that adopts Chami will be very fortunate to experience her love and fun.
