Get monthly updates about dogs like Byunghyun and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Last winter Byunghyun was discovered on the streets of a small village in Paju, Korea. Initially, he was taken to a high-kill shelter, but fortunately, rescued before facing euthanasia. He spent five months at a foster home, but due to the foster’s personal reasons, he was returned to a shelter.

Byunghyun is an affectionate and friendly puppy. While staying at the foster home, he was quiet and calm indoors, but when he went outside, he became playful and energetic. He thoroughly enjoys going for walks and meeting new furry friends. However, he may feel a bit nervous in crowded streets with heavy traffic. Byunghyun prefers quieter areas with less vehicular activity and behaves excellently on a leash during his walks. He is house-trained and uses pee-pads indoors in urgent situations. He also understands basic commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ and is eager to learn more.

He is a sociable and submissive dog who gets along well with other canine companions. His closest buddies have been Jindos and Spitz breeds. In general, Byunghyun is a very obedient and easygoing boy who adores human companionship. He loves snuggling up and receiving attention.

The ideal home for Byunghyun would be with someone who works from home or is retired, allowing ample time to devote to their furry companion. Since he is still young and has much to learn, an owner who can continue training and socialization while fulfilling his needs would be perfect. Another furry companion in the household would be ideal, although it is not a must.
