Get monthly updates about dogs like Bobby and follow their journey from suffering to a forever-loving home.

Currently, Bobby resides in a foster home in Vaughan, ON, along with four small dogs. Last winter, he was discovered on the streets in a small village in Paju, Korea. Sadly, he was then taken to a high-kill shelter but fortunately rescued before facing euthanasia. Following his rescue, Bobby spent five months with a foster family where he learned basic commands and etiquette. However, due to personal reasons of the foster family, he had to return to a local shelter until he left Korea.

Bobby is a calm, smart, and obedient boy. He is very quiet and well-behaved indoors but playful outside. He loves going for walks and behaves well on a leash, not pulling, and checking in with his human during walks. He prefers quiet streets over high-traffic areas where he feels a bit nervous. Bobby remains calm during bath time and allows you to do whatever is needed including brushing teeth He also knows basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘paw’.

He is friendly with other dogs and feels happy and confident around them. Bobby is obedient, easygoing, and enjoys being around people. Although he may be shy at first with new people, he warms up quickly, especially when there are other dogs around. The presence of other friendly dogs is crucial for Bobby’s forever home as it makes a big difference in his behavior. When alone, he can be timid and insecure, but with other dogs, he becomes happy and confident, making interactions with people smoother. He easily integrates and follows the pack.

An ideal home for Bobby would be with someone who is often at home, has experience with dogs, and already has one or two friendly dogs. A house with a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood would be perfect for him as he loves playing with his furry friends in the backyard. Since Bobby is still young, he would benefit from ongoing training and socialization.
