**Note: Bowie is currently in Korea, but we are looking for his forever home in Toronto. His flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for Mar 24.

Background: Bowie was rescued from a neglectful pet shop owner, where he and seven other dogs were confined to a tiny, dark room with no sunlight. After his rescue, Bowie lived comfortably in a foster home before recently joining our boarding house, where he’s been soaking up the love and care he truly deserves. Now, he’s ready to find a forever home.

Personality and Socialization: Bowie is a sweet, affectionate little Pomeranian with a gentle and loving personality. He adores being around people and is full of charm, always looking for cuddles and attention. Bow warms up quickly to new faces and shows no fear of strangers. He’s great with everyone—men, women, and children—and has a calm, happy demeanor. Bowie enjoys playing but is equally content with quiet moments of snuggling. He’s very social and loves interacting with other dogs, especially those of a similar size, and he happily shares his space with them.

Behaviors: Bowie is an easy-going boy who walks well on a leash, though he may get a bit nervous in louder, busy areas. He’s always happy and content, especially when he’s around people. He hasn’t shown signs of separation anxiety; while he enjoys playing with other dogs and people, he’s perfectly content resting calmly in his bed when left alone. Bow uses mostly indoor pee pads and is good in the car, during vet visits, and at bath time. Overall, he’s mellow and easy to care for.

Health and Diet: Bowie has fully recovered from surgery for patellar luxation (knee issues) on both hind legs, and he’s doing well. He has no other health concerns and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He is neutered, microchipped, and on monthly parasite prevention. Bowie has no known allergies and is in excellent overall health.

Ideal Home: Bowie is a calm, gentle soul looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. His easy-going nature makes him a perfect companion for first-time dog parents or seniors. He can thrive as the only dog or as a second dog in a home. We are looking for a family who can spend plenty of time with him—ideally someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or is retired. If you’re someone who can take Bowie with you wherever you go and offer him the love and care he deserves, he’s ready to be your devoted companion.

Bowie 2 is available for adoption. The fee to adopt Bowie 2 is $780.

Note: US adopters are responsible for customs clearance fee, which is approximately $140 USD.
