*NOTE: Free Korean Dogs is continuing to process applications for our adoptable dogs. However, recent flight restrictions beyond our control have hindered our ability to transport our dogs from Korea until June 2020 (or it may take longer) due to COVID-19. If this is a time line you are able to work with, please submit your application. If you meet our criteria, we will contact you for an interview.

Boma was rescued from the streets when he was about 3 month-old in Seoul, Korea. The cute little puppy was adopted right away. However, the good time didn’t last long. The adopter was declaired bankruptcy and eventually Boma was surrendered to a local shelter where she stayed for three years.

Last year Boma had a chance to live with a foster family for several months. Boma really loved the family and we all hoped that the foster could adopt her. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. The foster had to move to an apartment that didn’t allow a dog. Again, the poor Boma had to be moved to another place.

The first two weeks at a boarding house were very difficult for Boma; she didn’t understand what happended to her and why she couldn’t see her foster anymore. Boma was depressed and sad. It took a while for Boma to start eating again. Now she is doing good; she has made a couple of friends. Boma is a very affectionate, sweet and obedient girl who loves people more than dogs.

The ideal adopter is someone who has experience with rescue dogs and knows how to communicate with them. Someone living in a quiet neighborhood would be great.
